 Past Tense 
◦ Shows an action that was completed in the past. 
◦ Add-on 
◦ Verb refers to past time. 
◦ In simple past tense their use the second form of verb. 

◦ Eg 
1. Break:broke 
2. ask: asked 

◦ Example: 
1. I ate an apple. 
2. Soni sold  caps
